Job Description

This Flight Simulations Software Engineer will work in an aeronautics and military flight simulations environment with cutting edge hardware & systems. This exciting F-35 Flight Simulator work will include working on robust military full flight simulations based on real-time mission conditions and variables. This unique role requires a fairly unique mix of engineering skills and software development proficiency. The engineer will contribute to the development of software requirements based on project scope, technical specifications, and desired operational capabilities. The engineer will design, develop, and test our software modules on a day-to-day basis. The engineer will provide sustainment support for our complex flight simulations programs. The engineer will fix trouble tickets as needed. Troubleshoot existing baselines will be necessary to ensure product quality. The engineer will collaborate with other teammates and other engineering disciplines to include hardware engineers, systems engineers, human factors engineers, and program management. Relocation is available for this position.

Basic Qualifications
Basic Qualifications for this position include a BS Degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or closely related technical field and 2 years of professional experience. The ability to produce robust and accurate simulation software is required. C/C++ computer applications development proficiency is required. Experience writing software for UNIX / Linux platform is required. The ability to work effectively in a team environment is required. Strong verbal & written communications skills are required. Strong collaboration skills are required. Must have the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
