Responsible for the development and execution of sales strategies within area of responsibility for Aircraft and Rotorcraft manufacturers. Builds relationships with current and potential clients. Meets revenue forecast by managing the entire sale cycles from lead generation to closing.
•Manage the sales process according to procedures. Responsible for achieving annual sales goals
•Establish OEM market priorities, objectives and strategies based on market activity
•Develop and implement an OEM sales strategy plan with opportunities in the aerospace industry
•Identify and coordinate business opportunities and activities; involve other departments as well as authorities and agencies, to ensure the successful expansion of our business
•Manages the development of the customer relationship
•Prepare executive presentations for current and potential customers to showcase the company’s capabilities with the objective of establishing business relationships and increasing market share
•Partner with Sales, Contracts, and Finance teams to develop bid packages, negotiate term agreements and complete customer contracts
•Coordinate the communication between Legal, Finance, Operations, Contracts, and the customer until contract signature
•Manage customer relationship and provide on-going customer support and liaison responsibilities from transition through stabilization of program
•Support program team through periodic follow-up meetings with customer’s representatives
•Represent the company at industry events and tradeshows, seminars, conventions, etc.
•Regular, predictable attendance is required
•Adheres to safe work practices and contributes to the evolution of the health, safety, and environmental program and culture
•Other duties may be assigned.

Education and/or Experience
•Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or a related field of study.
•Requires 6-10 years of experience in the aerospace industry, with specific focus in area of responsibility (i.e. Aircraft/Rotorcraft OEMs). Minimum of 5 years in Business Development, Sales, and/or Marketing
•Proven track record in new business development within the Aerospace Industry
•Key sales and major account management experience with an aircraft/rotorcraft OEM
•Experience negotiating with both internal and external groups, ability to win concessions without damaging relationships
– 6 years of commercial leadership in the aerospace industry – aftermarket/OEM focus
– 6 years of customer relationship management
•Technical sales background related to aerospace engineering – Advanced
•Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities, meeting deadlines – Advanced
