Exciting opportunity to work on the Simulation and Systems Integration Laboratories (SimSIL) System Engineering team. SimSIL is part of the highly innovative Labs & Technical Services organization, responsible for developing, testing and maintaining aircraft simulation systems and subsystems utilized for aircraft capability integration and weapons systems development from concept design through production and delivery.

Within SimSIL resides an extensive collection of systems integration and test capabilities, including low-cost rapid prototyping concept development systems, full-dome handling qualities simulations, high-fidelity multi-ship, real-time, man-in-the-loop simulation systems, Reprogramming Laboratories, and hardware-in-the-loop mission systems and vehicle systems integration venues. This position is for a Senior Systems Engineering position assigned to the F-35 program team responsible for the development of real-time simulation systems consisting of avionics hardware in-the-loop simulations.

The primary set of responsibilities of this position include performing Laboratory system requirements derivation, requirements management and system design development, system integration, system requirements verification, system performance validation, and investigating laboratory anomalies. The technical emphasis of this position is focused on the technical domain of Aircraft Electronic Warfare (EW) sensor sub-systems.

Basic Qualifications
-Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited college or university -Experience in performing one or more of the following: system requirements development, system design development, system integration and verification. -Experience with complex simulation systems. -Experience with aircraft avionics sensors including electronic warfare, electronic attack, electronic protection (EW / EA / EP) -Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Desired skills
-Degrees preferred: Electrical Engineering, Physics, Aerospace Engineering, Applied Mathematics -Knowledgeable using the following Tools DOORS, MatLab, SysML, Rhapsody -Knowledgeable of F-35 Missions System Architecture -Knowledgeable of F-35 Mission System Sensors -Experience working in a Laboratory environment -Good communication skills both verbal and written. -Candidate has familiarity with F-35 Mission Systems Architecture and subsystems, DOORS requirements management tool, and system performance analysis and validation. -Has a demonstrated software or hardware development experience. -Strong oral written communication skills -Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills -Strong work ethic and self-motivation
