Media Relations and Marketing Manager (m/f)

Your Tasks :

The Media Relations and Marketing Manager (m/f) will be responsible for external communication for MTU Maintenance. The position is based in Hannover/Berlin, Germany. All tasks will be performed in close cooperation with the Munich based corporate communications department of MTU Aero Engines:

  • Research and editing of content for press activities (press releases, trade press articles, Q&As, briefing documents etc.)
  • Research and editing of content for external marketing material (print, online, presentations, mailings etc.)
  • Research, preparation and support of senior management interviews
  • Networking with international trade media representatives
  • First contact for all commercial maintenance media requests
  • Internal coordination of communications strategy and communications/media plan with sales and the respective group locations
  • MTU representative at press events, MRO trade shows and events (upon demand)

Your profound knowledge :

  • Degree in communications and appropriate work experience as a journalist and/or within a media agency or company; marketing basics/experience beneficial
  • Ideally with experience in the aerospace or aviation industry, particularly commercial maintenance
  • Native speaker English language skills, German skills beneficial
  • Outstanding writing skills
  • Excellent communication and networking skills
  • Ability to adapt to different (work) cultures and environments
  • Hands-on mentality
