Jobs: GUI Developer, Cummings Aerospace (USA)

The GUI Developer position is a full-time, entry level exempt position. The individual will provide software development support to include developing GUI based software code and translating system and subsystem software design requirements into code.

Responsibilities

  • Enhance existing or building new Graphical User Interface to support simulation development and data processing.
  • Embed tools to support statistical analysis and data mining
  • Establish software detailed design requirements from system requirements
  • Document detailed software design using UML or other tools
  • Develop software modules and Graphical User Interfaces (GUI) from subsystem and system software design specifications
  • Work with program management to help define work products and delivery schedules
  • Conduct unit testing and regression testing of software modules and GUI
  • Support company software change processes
  • Develop procedures for, and conduct formal code qualification testing
  • Ensure corporate policies and procedures are adhered to in the day-to-day performance of duties
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills and Competencies

  • BS degree in Engineering, Mathematics or Computer Science required
  • 0 – 3 years related experience desired
  • Experience with C++, Java and UML tools
  • Experience with real time software development
  • Experience working with Systems Engineers translating Systems Requirements into software design requirements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required
  • The successful candidate must have demonstrated experience and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment
  • Candidate must be organized and detail oriented
